Peter the Great Statue was quite near our hostel so I visited the area during my
Russia trip. The statue is 94 metres tall and is apparently the 8th tallest statue in the world. It is located near the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, which is located near the
Kropotkinskaya metro.
