Hong Kong Tram

If you're in Hong Kong, you should try sitting on the iconic Hong Kong Tram. The tram is the most economic transport in Hong Kong and regardless of distance, you will only be charged HKD2.30. Children and senior citizens need only pay HKD1.20 and HKD1.00. You need to have the exact change if you're using cash but not to worry as you can use the Octopus card.

There are 6 main routes for the tram:
  1. Shau Kei Wan to Western Market
  2. Shau Kei Wan to Happy Valley
  3. North Point to Shek Tong Tsui
  4. Causeway Bay to Shek Tong Tsui
  5. Happy Valley to Kennedy Town
  6. Shau Kei Wan to Kennedy Town

Below is a picture of the sign board at every tram station. It shows all the different stops for all the routes. Be warned that there are a number of stops in-between. :)

I took the trip towards Kennedy Town and back and below are some of the pictures I took while in the tram. For your information, Kennedy Town is just a place overlooking the Victoria Harbour. It's quite near the dry seafood town and Western Market though. The route also brings you to quite a few places like Admiralty, The Central station, etc. Enjoy.
