The MTR station is quite visible and accessible from the airport. One thing to note is that if you have bought the pass online, there is no need for you to change to the actual pass before boarding the train. You can only change the pass at the following stations if you have bought 2 Airport Express Single Journeys (which I believe will be the norm):
- Airport Express stations
- Kowloon Tong station
- Mong Kok station
- Tsim Sha Tsui station
- Wanchai station
- Causeway Bay station
The journey from the airport to the Hong Kong station is only about 24 mins using the airport express, and it travels on intervals of 12 mins. Based on my rough estimate, it takes about 10 mins to travel to Tsing Yi station, 8 mins to Kowloon station and 3 mins to Hong Kong station. You can take a look at the timetable here. I especially like the "travel indicator" in the train, that shows you an estimate of how far away are you from the next station. Below is a picture of the airport express train "travel indicator".

I've changed to my airport express travel pass after traveling on the airport express train. If you're alighting at the Hong Kong station, find the customer service centre to exchange for your travel pass. Below is a picture of a typical customer service centre which you can exchange for your pass.

My hotel provides a shuttle bus that will pick up the passengers from the Hong Kong station. If you alight at the Hong Kong station, the shuttle bus pick-up point is on the same level, extreme left-hand side of the station. Below is a picture of the area near the shuttle bus pick-up point.

Apparently, the MTR airport express also provides free shuttle buses to quite a few hotels near Kowloon station, and Hong Kong station. You can find more information on the free shuttle buses provided by the MTR airport express here.
Stay tuned for more posts about Hong Kong. :)
