The State Tretyakov Gallery

Russia is all about art and culture and there are many museums and galleries that I've visited during my Russia trip, one of which is the State Tretyakov Gallery. I've took a picture of the exterior of the gallery below.

The State Tretyakov Gallery

This gallery possesses a unique collection of Russian art which includes masterpieces created for more than a thousand years. It contains more than 170,000 works by Russian artists from the early religious paintings to the modern art objects.

The gallery is within walking distance from the Tretyakovskaya metro, and it'll cost about 450 roubles per entry for each adult. Do note that you're now allowed to take any photos within the gallery and if you're interesting in art, you may find yourself immerse in the artistry for a couple of hours. You can find more information about this gallery here.
